Procrastinating ... but still somewhat productive

I told myself that this weekend while Jack napped I would clean the house.  Somehow I managed to find something else that "needed" to be done during naptime on Saturday.  That leaves Sunday afternoon to clean the house while my little "helper" sleeps.  I got out the duster and cleaning supplies only to be distracted by the urgent need to transfer pictures from my phone to safer storage locations.  In the meantime, I found these pictures of my cutie from the last few months that I just couldn't resist sharing.
Who? Me?  I didn't do anything.
Now do you see why I clean the house while he sleeps?
First Happy Meal at McDonald's
This is actually from Spring Break but I just found it in my cleaning out spree.  We took Jack for his first Happy Meal at McDonald's.  Let's just say he was not a fan.  We eventually got him to nibble on a french fry but he wouldn't touch the cheeseburger.  His Daddy is still trying to teach him the joys of cheeseburgers.
Jack & GeeGee
GeeGee came for a visit over Easter.  We had LOTS of fun!

For his first year, I took pictures every week to see how fast he grows.  This year, we cut that back to every month.  This is the 16th month installment.

Jack in the box

Where's your nose, Jack?
One good thing about a warm spring is that we got to break out the swimming pool extra early this year!

Sleepy monkey
We have a busy toddler on our hands these days.  Sometimes it seems like he never slows down.  But we have lots of fun with that silly monkey!

This should make you feel better:

  2. Perhaps I should try to be so successful more often. Thanks for the encouragement. ;-)
